My logo is on all of my floorplans, is this ok?
No, all logos must be removed from floor plans before you submit them.
How do you calculate the square foot area of a house?
The calculation for square footage includes all finished spaces / net square footage / inside of the exterior wall to inside of exterior wall. Unfinished portions of a basement (for example) do not count.
I entered a project last year, and it did not become a finalist. Can I re-submit the same entry?
Yes, so long as the project meets all of our eligibility criteria. If your project was named a finalist last year, you cannot resubmit to the competition.
Do my co-submitters have to be members?
Yes. These are the GOHBA awards, so you have to be a member of GOHBA to enter. Your building partners may join the Association to be named a co-submitter on your project, see Membership Requirements for more details.
How does billing work for co-submitters?
We bill each company individually, unless GOHBA is instructed otherwise.
What happens if my entry is the only one submitted in a category?
We review your entry and determine if two similar categories may be combined in order to stage a competition. If there are no other like projects, we will provide you with a refund.
