Mackie Homes

Since 2012, Mackie Homes has proudly built homes throughout Ottawa and the surrounding regions. As we approach our 15th year in business, we find ourselves reflecting on where we started, what we have built (quite literally) and the future we strive towards.

Led by a third-generation carpenter, Mackie Homes grew from building 5 homes/year to nearly 100. Despite that growth, our mission has remained the same: building for people, by people, with quality craftsmanship at the forefront of everything we do.

While our reputation was built on rural estate homes, we have expanded our offerings to include mixed-use residential developments that provide more attainable and affordable housing options for today's buyer. Our homes are designed to offer curb appeal with attractive roof lines, oversized windows, nine-foot ceilings, generous storage throughout and practical layouts that enhance everyday living. Just as important are the quality construction standards behind the walls that ensure lasting value and performance.

Our success would not be possible without our team and the trusted trades and partners who have worked alongside us for many years, sharing our commitment to excellence and integrity.

This year, as we celebrate building more than 550 homes since 2012, it gave us a moment of reflection and pause. Homebuilding is a significant responsibility and we never take for granted the trust families place in us. That responsibility motivates us to continually learn, improve and raise the bar.
